The Adventures of Jake and Allie

Working with someone to make their dream come to life is an enriching experience. Illustrating these children's books both is and has been a pleasure.

The author's intent behind the books is to educate young ones in some of the unique locations and facts of each state in the U.S. In my collaborations with the author, we have managed to mix education with a bit of humor to entice her young readers.

All of the illustrations were made with colored pencil, starting from preliminary sketches. These books represent an ongoing body of work with a new book being both published and printed yearly.
