Working for a Print Shop in upstate NY has given me the opportunity to create a large variety of promotional materials for many local businesses and individuals.

I began by working with the owner in generating a brand for Prism Ink.

I have had the pleasure of working with a farm-to-table meat shop run by some of the friendliest people around. Whether it was creating business cards, posters, or t-shirts, I was grateful to have made a small contribution in their business growth through design and the implementation of humor.

The Finger Lakes are known for their wineries, and it was my pleasure to work with Nancy Irelan in creating a new label illustration for their upcoming red.

I began with several concept sketches and drawings, and we eventually settled on a favorite, final image depicting a powerful and spiritual moment that would later give the wine it's identity.

The Adventures of Jake and Allie

Working with someone to make their dream come to life is an enriching experience. Illustrating these children's books both is and has been a pleasure.

The author's intent behind the books is to educate young ones in some of the unique locations and facts of each state in the U.S. In my collaborations with the author, we have managed to mix education with a bit of humor to entice her young readers.

All of the illustrations were made with colored pencil, starting from preliminary sketches. These books represent an ongoing body of work with a new book being both published and printed yearly.

I have a deep appreciation for the arts.

In the past, I have exhibited drawings, made a few paintings, created vector pattern tracings for metal sculpture artist Sam Castner, and even created some sculptures of my own.

I tend to enjoy subjects pertaining to nature and fantasy.
